We are delighted to announce that the Levin Center at Wayne Law School has been awarded a $250,000 grant from the Fred and Barbara Erb Family Foundation to support its work strengthening legislative oversight and democratic accountability.
This funding will help expand the Center’s training and technical assistance for state and federal lawmakers and legislative staff. Through these programs, the Levin Center works with public officials to build practical oversight skills, encourage bipartisan cooperation, and support more effective, responsive government.
The Center’s approach focuses on fact-based inquiry and strengthening the connection between people and their government. By equipping lawmakers with the tools they need to carry out meaningful oversight, the Levin Center aims to reinforce public trust in democratic institutions.
The Erb Family Foundation’s support will allow this work to continue and grow, both in Michigan and nationally. We are grateful for the Erb family Foundation’s support and trust in our mission!
