Carolyn Noble

Chief Development Officer

Carolyn Noble has served as the Chief Development Officer for the Levin Center and the Senior Philanthropic Officer for Wayne State University Law School since February 2025, bringing more than nine years of experience in major and planned-gift fundraising. In these roles, she leads philanthropic strategy for both the Law School and the Levin Center, building and strengthening relationships with high-capacity donors, elected officials, prominent business leaders, and dedicated Law School alumni. Carolyn has secured transformational five-, six-, and seven-figure gifts throughout her career—creating endowed chairs, scholarships, programmatic funds, and planned gifts that advance long-term institutional priorities. She specializes in developing tailored cultivation and solicitation strategies that translate academic, capital, and programmatic needs into meaningful philanthropic opportunities.  

Carolyn is also a Trustee on the Board of Education for Bloomfield Hills Schools.

She was chosen as a Crain’s Detroit Business Notable Leader in Philanthropy for 2025.
